 Want to try a different take on egg decorating? Join us as we decorate DRAGON EGGS! The beauty of dragon eggs puts chickens to shame, no matter what color they are. Add sparkle, gems, or other fantastic touches to make your dragon egg a try one-of-a-kind! We’ll also build a “nest” for your egg, so that it can stay comfortable until it’s ready to hatch.

Eggs and Chicks for Easter!

DIY Yarn chicks, Easter activity for kids, date night, art classes, Stapleton, Northeast Denver

 

For this fun and festive evening, kids will learn how to make their own pom poms from yarn, and then use them to make a brood of chicks, along with a brooder box diorama to keep them “warm”. Send along any empty easter eggs to add to their diorama; that will make it extra cute!

STEM Competition for Middle Schoolers

STEM Challenge, middle school activity,  Northeast Denver, Stapleton area

 

Adolescents get a kick out of challenges that involve problem solving, building, and teamwork. Our monthly STEM Competition includes Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics concepts. The goal is to be the most successful team to solve the challenges. We’re not giving any hints about what, exactly, the challenges will be...what’s the fun in THAT? There’s space for  five teams of three to four team members. Just make AND name your team. When you register, be sure to add your team name. Sign up soon. Spots will fill up quickly. The winning team gets a 50% discount on our next challenge!

It’s a Garden life for us Does anyone else have a vision of Annie tap dancing around a garden, because I certainly do! With this fun evening, the kids will create decorations for any home garden! Imagine child made stepping stones and a wind chime! Great for your home or for a grandparent’s yard.

Pinch Those Pennies!

Financial literacy is an essential skill kids need to learn. Why not get them started EARLY and set them up for successful future

Have your young artists join us for fun time to explore ways even kids can make money.  Each artist will decorate their own piggy bank to save that money (between trips to the bank for deposits). 

We will have a great time making dragonfly jewelry brooches for sale to help them fill up the piggy's belly.

Make a serious topic fun and introduce it early to instill great habits from the START!

 Mother’s Day is May 12, and this is a fantastic opportunity for you to get some time alone with your special someone while the kids get to make artistic gifts to give to mom on her special day. Finding a special gift for mom is sometimes hard for kids. In this workshop, kids will decorate a sturdy canvas tote bag just for mom! It can be used for going to the beach, to the grocery store, or anywhere in between, and she’ll be able to enjoy it for years to come!
