About Jessica Fairchild


Jessica is a native of Denver, Colorado and couldn’t imagine living or working anywhere else. She has always been passionate about teaching and working with children creating art.. She was an art teacher during her summers of highschool and college working with children in an art class at a recreation center. She painted, created, made jewelry, keychains, and manipulating clay and working on the pottery wheel. She loves creating and sparking children’s imagination while painting and creating new masterpieces. When she is not in Neighborhood Art Studio she is spending time with her two children, Nathan 9 and Mila who just turned 4, and her significant other, Omar. Jessica enjoys swimming, nature walks with her family, yoga, going to an amusement park, and having dance offs with her kids. Art and Music are a big part of her family’s life.

● Jessica’s favorite songs are Brave by Sara Barellas and A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. She enjoys reading right now she is reading Girl Stop Apologizing By Rachel Hollis. 

● She loves working as an Early Education Art instructor because there are endless ways to create art for children and she loves seeing that excitement and joy it brings on their adorable little faces when they can’t wait to show their parents what they invented today. The memories they will have as they get older are priceless, and it’s so important to their development that they have an outlet for all of their creativity. Art is such an important tool and wonderful for motor and sensory development. I’m confident that our students will be fulfilled as budding artists and thinkers.
