Chantel Vogel - Creative Planning Project Manager and Teacher

After over 20 years as a teacher of second through seventh grade, Chantel brings a  wealth of diverse experience and understanding of how children learn best. With her rich background in childhood education, it’s no wonder she’s an expert at keeping our studio running smoothly! She’s in charge of planning a lot of the creative events that happen at Neighborhood Art Studio, including the fun day-out camps and date night workshops. When she’s not at the studio, you can find Chantel cheering her 17-year-old son Jonathan and 15-year-old daughter Macy on as they compete in track and cross country, snuggling with her two cats, Gizmo and Finn, or dancing her heart out at a Zumba class!

Fun Facts:

  • If Chantel’s life were a movie, “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield would appear in the soundtrack
  • Chantel loves to read all kinds of books, and most recently enjoyed The 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
  • One of Chantel’s favorite parts of her job is watching kids let loose with their imaginations and making unique upcycled art from the repurposed materials at the Creation Station
